His training began very early. He was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley growing up in Burbank, Northridge, Tarzana and Sherman Oaks beginning his career in the late 80's. His mom, Kathy, was a real estate agent in the 70's working for Red Carpet Realty on Ventura Boulevard in Encino. During that time he was introduced to real estate at a very young age often helping around the office and going on showing appointments. 

He took an immediate liking to real estate working for Fred Sands Realtors in Tarzana and for Jon Douglas Company in Encino until Douglas sold the firm to Coldwell Banker where he has continued his career. 

His local insight and vast knowledge of the community gives him the unique ability to quickly identify the value of his seller's property, to know the amenities that will appeal to buyers in the area and the qualities that are necessary to find each client the most suitable home and location. 


Barry has reached some very high plateaus receiving many distinguished honors. A Previews Estate Director, he earned the Coldwell Banker International President's Premier Designation representing the top 1% of all Coldwell Banker sales associates Internationally .

He is the #1 top sales producer for 2013 and 2014 in the Coldwell Banker Sherman Oaks office.
